Finally Nigeria is doing something about it

FINALLY NIGERIA IS DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT

I’ve waited so eagerly and so have all the people that care about the lives of the innocent Africans dying in South Africa as a result of some people’s thoughtlessness, and as is almost always the case with Nigeria, we delay response, but to hear the Nigerian senate demand for a recall of her ambassador to SA, and asking that the king of Zulu be petitioned to the ICC is something we waited for too long.

It is no news that blacks hate blacks. I have no issues, as I am sure most of us don’t, with brothers quarreling with brothers, but if that quarrel makes you throw reasoning out the window, then you must think again. Rwandans can at least tell how long it took for them to recover from the genocide of 1994   between the Hutus and the Tutsis. The Modakeke & Ife people, Tiv & Jukun people, etc, can all tell with evidence that brothers quarrel, but that is as far as it goes.

South Africa has gone beyond its boundaries, and in addition to recalling her ambassador and petitioning the ICC, Nigeria should stamp her feet, by redefining her international diplomatic policies, and make clear that the killing of Nigerians abroad will not be taken lightly. The Nigerian government has to show to the world that her citizens mean much to her.

While I will maintain that Nigerians keep teaching South Africans living in Nigeria what love means, we must make sure that we are not taken for granted anymore as a country.

By the way, I applaud the efforts of the many South Africans who have stood up against this madness, and urge them to continue to do that against the few bad eggs, because at some points in time, we all are strangers in someone else’s land.
