GREAT TURN-AROUND STORIES – GOD AT WORK IN STYLE

After reading the Olajumoke Orisaguna’s story, I concluded that God takes care of us and settles us all, and sometimes He does that in style. The way He takes care of all of us is entirely up to Him, but He never forgets to take care of His own.

In case you missed the story, here is the summary:

A professional photographer (TY Bello) was taking shots of a musician ( Tinie Tempah), and suddenly there appeared a bread hawker in the background of the photo. People saw the image in the background as that of a supermodel, and that forced the photographer to commence a search for the lady who photo-bombed. From that singular encounter, that lady has moved from obscurity to fame – making international headlines, from rags to riches, from bread hawker to super model with all the attendant benefits and a sponsorship to continue her hair dressing classes in a professional academy (by the way, it was to complete her training that she started hawking bread), from living in a village to living in a luxury apartment free, and so on…

As I ruminated on her story over and over again, one psalm of David came to mind. Psalm 126:1-6 (KJV):

1.       When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.
2.      Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them.
3.      The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.
4.      Turn again our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the south.
5.      They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
6.      He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

When God steps in your case, His ways defies logics and reasoning. He does things giving no room for philosophical explanation. He makes sure our human brain become inadequate to explain what He has done. He shows that He is indeed almighty. As many of you that are reading this, and trusting God to come through for you in ways that defy man’s reasoning, I stand in faith with you, and declare that He will come through for you.
